Why I’m voting for Tyler Cruz
I’ve talked about Tyler Cruz before on this blog, and here I go again!
Currently Tyler Cruz and Gyutae Park are holding a contest to see who can get more “votes” throughout the blogosphere. A vote is achieved when a blogger makes a post about the contest and why they think X should win. The loser of the contest has to pay $100 to three people who voted for the winner. So, since I’m voting for Tyler, I need him to win, and I’m elligible to win $100 from Gyutae. Both are also offering prizes to encourage people to vote for them. Tyler for example, is giving 100 entrecard credits to anyone who votes for him, so everyone who bothers voting for him is guaranteed something at least. Gyutae is offering a t shirt to the first 30 people who vote for him, but this isn’t really a gift is it? A t shirt that’s promoting his website? You’d be doing him a favour by wearing it, dont be fooled 
Why do I think Tyler should win? Well, the stats don’t lie. Tyler’s RSS count currently stands at an impressive 1147 readers, while Gyutae is at 296. That and well, I’m a regular reader of Tyler’s, I know him a lot better, and he did me a big favour a while ago when he made a post about me. For that reason he’s now in my blogroll. I think he’s got a better chance of winning too, since he simply has way more readers. And personally I feel the chance of winning $100 for doing a post like this is pretty tempting. Gyutae seems like a good blogger and all (he recently ran a contest for someone to win a review on John Chow), but meh, I just prefer Tyler.
