When I'm on a bus I usually like to just sit there and listen to my iPod and not be disturbed. I may adopt a cranky/unapproachful expression but feck that, sometimes I just want to be left alone! :P I'm glad I'm not the only person who gets annoyed about having to "do the whole polite “Sorry mate can I get by ya there?” thing :D God, I know exactly how you felt when that person sat beside you even though there were empty seats on the bus.

Most bus drivers get great pleasure from pulling off watching people run in their wing mirror making tits of themselves - but legally they can't stop and pick up once they've released their handbrake and are moving off, so running will just make you look like a complete fool! Ever wonder why drivers never let anyone on/off at the lights? Dublin Bus have 'spies' who ride around on the buses checking on the drivers without them knowing!
