Y'alright?

Redneck Manifesto & Explosions in the Sky

I just got tickets to see both of these bands, and I’m very very excited. The Redneck Manifesto posted a bulletin about their gig, and when I went to buy tickets I saw Explosions were doing a gig too.

So I had to buy two for both, given that these are two of my favourite bands, and I certainly didn’t expect Explosions to be playing here for a while, so had to snap them up. Obviously I don’t want to be going on my own, so had to buy two tickets, but the thing is I may not recoup my costs on the second tickets, since these bands aren’t too popular amongst my friends, I could end up dragging someone along with me, and I couldn’t really demand they pay me for a gig they don’t really want to go to. Though I recently gave Warren some TRM cd’s so hopefully that’ll work out.

Check out The Redneck Manifesto, a great alternative Irish band, here. And Explosions in the Sky, an incredible band, making some truly beautiful music that I believe anyone could enjoy, here.

So that’s : Kings Of Leon - 27th November 07 (RDS)

The Redneck Manifesto - 20th December 07 (Whelan’s)

Explosions in the Sky - 26th January (Tripod)

Jolly good.
