“OMG I totally failed that test!”
Time for a good ol’ rant me thinks.
There were a few things that consistently annoyed me during the exams this week. I hate how people feel the need to lie so damn much over some stupid things. We all know that conversation before an exam, where you ask the mindless drone next to you if he or she studied. “OMG lyk noez!” is the general response you get. 90% of the time, this is a lie. Even when I got asked, I’d tell the questioner that I did a little bit, because that was the truth. Despite spending a lot of my study time doing more important things such as beboing and blogging, I always did a little bit of study. I actually gain a lot of respect for a person who tells me that they actually did a good bit of study for a test, because it’s simply not the usual answer you hear. Of course I know there are times when people are telling the truth when they say they didn’t study.
Then the same person who said they didn’t study will write furiously for two hours in the exam hall, putting their hand up on two different occasions for another exam booklet to write in, and on one occasion even asking for some graph paper and doing calculations on a calculator, despite the fact that’s it’s an english exam.
And what do they say at the end? “Oh I like, so failed that!”
Fortunately, I’ve noticed a lot of people have quit this stupid behaviour in their later years, and are being honest more often, but the rest of you, please, admit to being a nerd and be proud of doing well as a result.

Ha I love that phrase, I wrote it in the dust on the back of Ms.Gaffney’s car last year. Quite fitting I feel.

Oh God I hate those teacher’s pets who always say: “I didn’t study for this exam. Oh you’ve got a nice t-shirt, is it new?”
Aaaand…they do the same that you said… it’s so annoying.

Oh verrrry good Mark.
I hate that too but you have to remember there are some genuine people out there that don’t study but just happen to remember it all and do well. Not many, but there are a few!!
