Time to reveal some of the details on my two latest projects. I’ve mentioned these briefly in posts lately, and it’s time my readers got some proper information
This was me finally getting around to writing one of the many ebooks I’ve had planned. The book is a brief guide on getting to the front page of Digg, and then using this to your advantage. I read up on a few different sources for the book, and everyone so far that’s purchased has been very happy.

The only promotion I did was a sale thread on Digital Point forums, since I wanted to make sure I was in profit before spending money on advertising. So far so good, with a total of 30 sales over the past 5 days. I’d say a good 60-70% of these were at the special discount price of $7 I gave at the start, and the rest at the full price of $10. (some $10 sales went through even while the special promotion price was on!). Obviously I’m happy with how that’s gone, and expect to make a decent bit more from it. As I said, every buyer has been satisfied so far, and I’m not surprised, it’s not like it cost very much! So obviously you loyal readers are encouraged to buy the book
Next up is a joint venture I’m working on with The University Kid.
Webmaster Discounts.com
This is a blog, and as you may have guessed, is aimed at webmasters. The attractive aspect of the blog is the ‘freebie per day’ method we’re going to have. We’re going to have at least one free digital product posted for download every single day. Along with this, around 3-5 posts per week about new products/sites/developments in the webmaster world. The freebies should hopefully ensure we get a good few RSS subscribers, and once we have regular readers, we can work on making the site a real success. A custom made theme with adspace, etc.
Jason, the guy I’m working with, is a very good blogger, and having a partner gives me more reason to actually work on the site rather than be lazy, like I’m prone to doing.
We’ve only started the actual posting on the site tonight, so obviously haven’t promoted the site yet, but I do reckon there’s a decent chance of it being successful. After all, it’s genuinely giving something away for nothing. Check it out guys, and feel free to subscribe to the RSS feed using the form at the side, it’ll enable you to get download links send right to your email
