Exam time : Two days in

We’re two days into my mock exams ( see previous post for more info)

I’m weary of making predictions on here regarding my results, because there’s always that chance that I’ll do far worse than I thought.

On Monday, it was just English Paper 1. I feel I did well, and usually do in English, but this paper is very subjective, as much of the exam is testing your creativity and essay writing. Paper 2 examines your knowledge of poetry etc, (but that exam isn’t until Friday, so I won’t be worrying about it until much later!)

Today was a pretty tough day, with Geography (not too complicated, but there’s so much to cover) and Maths Paper 1. Geography went fine, and this would be a strong subject for me too, but it can sometimes be hit and miss. We’ve only just completed the course, so a half decent grade at this early stage would satisfy me.

Maths, higher level maths, was a freakin’ disaster! Most people shared this thought though, but a look at this old rant could put these reports into question.

Tomorrow it’s Irish paper 1, so I’m off to try learn a few essays!

Best of Luck, I’ve another year to go to get a grip and start cramming (benefits of TY!). Mocks just started at my school today, it’s always English that is first in exams, I suppose to get you settled.

I dropped Honours Maths like a stone, I did okay in JC Maths, but LC Maths is quite simply a marathon everyday of the week. So I opted to go for OL Maths for LC, not for the easy ride, but I’d feel better if I got an A or B in OL than a D or E in HL!

    Best of luck once again!
