Current Paypal balance.

Currently my paypal stand at just over €189, which is about $258 USD, so not too bad. I’d like to get to over 300$ pretty soon, but I haven’t been bothered with business lately at all. I’m currently throwing together a site about Flight of the Conchords, my favourite tv show, in the hope I can sell it on for a wee profit. I’m considering making a site for them and actually keeping it, that’s how much I love the damn show!

My beautiful lappy.

Yes that’s right, I call my laptop “lappy”

I’ve had this baby since the start of 2006 (January sales!). That’s over a year and a half now, and despite having my fair share of problem with the thing, I love her no less. At the time of purchase, it was pretty top of the range, and was reduced from €1299 to €1049. The specs of it still hold up well to some of the stuff on sale even now, though admittedly if I had the money I’d upgrade.

17″ widescreen LCD display, 1gb RAM, 50gb hard-drive, Wi-Fi, AMD Mobile Sempron 3000+ CPU - it’s a great machine. Especially since I’ve now added my external hard drive with 250gb to that, along with my 2.1 speakers, soon to hopefully be upgraded to 5.1.

I’ve had a couple problems with this over the time, with two re-installs of windows along the way. But overall this machine has served me well, and I freakin’ love it.

Back to school blues

As it’s officially Wednesday, I’m back in school tomorrow. The summer always goes way too fast. Didn’t really get much done in the summer, but sure fuck it, the summer’s for relaxing for me. Not looking forward to this sixth year business at all, the leaving cert and all that lark. It’s all the goddamn lectures from teachers and parents that I’m dreading, and that “studying” stuff too.

Haven’t been bothered doing business lately unfortunately, and probably won’t do anything before school, since I’ve gotta get some more books and stuff, and tidy my freakin’ room, which has been a work in progress for the entire three months of summer.

Anyway, off to the education hole with us.

Heroes (again)

I’m over half way through the first series of this, and it’s damn good. A seriously good show, every episode leaves you craving more. This show is the reason I haven’t been posting on this thing lately!

In business news, I sold jpegr.net for $20, which I was happy with.  Not really in a business mood these days however, probably with school looming ever nearer.

Boo-urns.

pr0nz.net domain sold.

Sold this domain for a meagre >10% profit, which seems absolutely shite, but I soon came to realise that this domain wasn’t worth more than I originally paid for it, so I did well to make any profit on it. And at least I got the old rush that you get when you do some business.

Jpegr sites look like they’re going to sell, so hopefully there’ll be post up here about that tomorrow.

Heroes.

Started watching this show today after I got the first season of it off Warren. Though it’s been majorly hyped, I did quite like it, and will hopefully get to see them all, as I think there’s a new series coming out.

Walsho Enterprises or Walsh Enterprises?

I decided to edit the logo so it’s now just Walsh Enterprises. Walsho was only picked as a joke and I don’t to end up regretting picking it if I actually did something with it!

Walsho Enterprises logo

Yesterday after the business I did that day I wanted to get a logo designed for “Walsho Enterprises”. So I started a thread on DigitalPoint saying I’d pay $5 to whoever would design me a simple logo. I had some entries, and found the one I liked most. So just as I was about to go pay him I saw a thread offering 3 free logo’s designed. So I went into it, and there’d only been one response, so I could still get a free one. But what about the guy who won my thread?

Turns out the guy giving free logo’s to three people was the guy who did my logo, and since I got third post on his thread, I got my logo made for free

So there’s the three different colours. Comment with what you think of the logo’s.

Making easy money.

Made some easy money last night selling on some things I’ve purchased before (with Master Resell rights).

I gave the guy a great deal, but it didn’t matter to me that I was giving stuff cheaply, it was just sitting on my harddrive doing nothing. $22 made rather easily, and we’re both happy.

New domains bought.

Yesterday I bought 3 new domains. Firstly, RecipesElite.com, for a recipe site I want to make and sell on. Then I found a coupon for $5 .net domains, so I bought jpegr.net and pr0nz.net. Not fully sure what to do with them, but I’ll probably just sell them on. Bound to make something on them, they’re both pretty good.
